Crisp cucumbers combined with traditional salsa ingredients, zesty lime, and a hint of spice make this salsa a crowd-pleaser.

Chunky Cucumber Salsa

  • 2 medium size cucumbers

  • 2 Roma tomatoes

  • 1 orange bell pepper

  • 1/2 red onion

  • 1 jalepeno (deseeded if you prefer less spice!)

  • 1 TBSP. olive oil

  • Juice of 1 lime

  • Green onion, diced

  • Cilantro, chopped

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  1. Prepare and chop all salsa ingredients into uniform-size chunks. To cut down on prep time (and make your life easier), I suggest using a food chopper like this one.

  2. Combine all ingredients together in a medium size bowl. Serve with hint of lime tortilla chips for an extra boost of flavor and crunch!

Cooking tips:

Using a food chopper not only cuts down on the amount of time you spend chopping up your ingredients, but it also helps you chop the salsa ingredients into similar size pieces, creating a consistent texture and consistency for your salsa. Plus, you can decide how chunky you want your salsa with the different size blade options.

Recipe ideas:
