Healthy Travel Foods

Updated: Apr 28

Anyone else feel like they're about to board the struggle bus when you make plans to travel?! Not sure how to stay on track with your health and fitness goals without the ability to have access to your normal meals and snacks? Rest assured - there are plenty of healthy travel foods that are quick, easy and best of all, airport & TSA-friendly!

I've put together a list of some of my favorite healthy travel foods that are protein-packed, healthy and convenient to help alleviate some of the stress you may have about not having complete access to healthy meals all the time. These are all things you can pack in your suitcase, take with you on a plane and have with you just about everywhere you go!

Starkist Tuna Packets (Ranch is my favorite flavor!)

Highly suggest *not* opening this up on the airplane if you want to save yourself endless death stares ;) What I love about these tuna packets is there is no mess involved. Tear it open, get your fork & eat up. Starkist offers a ton of different flavors too, you can check out all the options here.

Brown Rice Thin Crackers:

These are a perfect crunchy cracker to have with the tuna packets or your favorite nut butters! These Justin's travel-size nut butters are perfect for travel!

Mini Beef Sticks

I love these Country Archer Mini Beef Sticks! Beef or turkey jerky is also a fantastic on-the-go, high-protein snack. I love the Kirkland beef strips from Costco or this Perky Turkey Jerky.

Pure Protein Bars

I've tried a LOT of protein bars in the last several years. These are by far the best tasting and the best bang-for-your-buck. There's nothing worst than choking down a dry protein bar that tastes like chocolate covered dirt. You can find them at your local Costco or Amazon.
