Hi, I'm April!
I am a wife, a new mom to the sweetest little girl, a coach, a traveler, and a lover of the outdoors. I have a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Food, and I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Pre & Postnatal trainer & a Behavior Change Specialist. I've always had a passion for health and wellness but my own love for fitness really started in 2015 before I even became a CPT. Through my own journey of losing and maintaining 20 pounds a few years back, and now going through an entirely different fitness journey postpartum, my passions to coach and train other women has only continued to evolve. I love what I do more than anything and feel so incredibly grateful for the knowledge I have and the individuals I am able to work with.
I know that there is an overwhelming amount of nutrition and fitness information available to us at all times, with different programs promising dramatic changes if you just follow along for 30 days. As a result, we are often caught in a cycle of always trying the next new diet or workout plan. My goal is to help you understand the basics of nutrition so that you can not only distinguish fact from fad, but so that you are able to set goals you can actually achieve and create progress that you can actually maintain FOR LIFE. Because otherwise - what's the point?!
I LOVE WORKING WITH:
Those struggling to break the vicious cycle of restricting and overeating and looking to gain a better relationship with food and with themselves.
Those who feel overwhelmed and stuck in their eating habits, but want to achieve sustainable fat loss goals from a place of learning about, caring for, and feeling good in their body rather than hating it.
Those committed to making and maintaining sustainable changes beyond the number on the scale and focusing on building better habits, their relationship with food and how they feel, look, and perform.
Those who want to get stronger, faster, and fitter but are struggling to make their nutrition match their performance goals.
Those who are ready to let go of a mindset of “bad” foods, cheat days, and perpetual dieting and implement a more flexible and streamlined approach to both nutrition and meal prep.
